Roast Chicken Salad Sandwich

Chicken salad sandwich is perfect snack for picnics, trekking and long-distance travel. They can be made beforehand, wrapped in plastic wrap and put in the refrigerator where they can be stored for a day. Roast Chicken Salad Sandwich

What you will need to cook chicken salad sandwich: chicken fillet, mayonnaise (for those who are on a diet – you can use sour cream), 1 teaspoon of Dijon mustard, 1 tablespoon of chopped parsley, 1 tablespoon of chopped tarragon (you can safely replace cilantro, so it will be even better), 1/3 cup of walnuts, one red apple, teriyaki sauce, black pepper, olive oil, spoon of honey, lettuce (take the salad that you enjoy most – ramen, lettuce, spinach, etc.).

Cut chicken into small squares, pour into the pan of olive oil, add salt and pepper and fry on medium heat (filet should not be dry) and add teriyaki sauce, remove from heat and leave in the frying pan. Cut the apple into small slices and everything but lettuce, mix in a salad bowl and add the chicken. Then take bread or a roll, be sure to make them a crust in toaster or on pan. And then it’s simple to prepare chicken salad sandwich: bread, lettuce and top our chicken salad with apples and nuts.
